This series arose from a need to work with clay. Working with organic shapes, the real organic shapes from nature came into play. 
Strolling along the Waal, the Maas, through the garden, you come across so many beautiful shapes and these are reflected in the work. For example, the round cut stones on the Waal beaches, the seed pods of the Anna Paulowna tree around the corner and the poppy bulbs in the garden.
